Being a professor of computer science gives you the power to change lives one at a time. Taking extra courses yourself is a great way to further your education and to show kids that you don't need to stop learning as you get older. Life is full of lessons and sometimes we forget that we are always learning. If you feel like you have changed one persons career for the good then you have done the right job. You can't tell or order your students to follow your path. But if they see how happy you are with all your decision then they will soon pick up on it as well.
